Terms of Engagement
The core agreement that governs participation in Land & Legacy Academy programs, farm visits and partnerships.
Purpose
To set out the conditions under which Land & Legacy Academy provides education, farm experience and partnership services.
Scope
All participants, guardians, schools, farm partners, sponsors and volunteers engaging with the Academy.
1. Agreement
By engaging our services you agree to these terms, together with the Child Safety, Privacy and Farm Safety policies referenced below. Where agreement is not given, services cannot be provided.
2. Participation
Participants must follow all instructions given by Academy staff, mentors and host farm operators. Guardians are responsible for disclosing medical and accessibility needs before a session.
3. Safety
Farm environments carry inherent risk. Participation is conditional on compliance with the Farm Safety Policy and any site-specific briefing.
4. Fees and cancellations
Fees, deposits and cancellation windows are as published for each program or experience at the time of booking.
5. Personal information
We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes create a new version and require fresh agreement before services continue.
