From planning call to post-visit resources — what teachers can expect.
Pre-Visit Planning
We work with your teachers to align the visit with your current unit — choosing activities, outcomes and assessment links before the day.
Arrival & Safety Induction
Students receive a farm safety induction and are grouped with trained hosts at agreed supervision ratios.
Rotational Activities
Classes rotate through 3–4 hands-on stations: animal care, paddock-to-plate, growing systems and an enterprise or creative activity.
Structured Reflection
Each rotation closes with guided reflection questions mapped to your chosen outcomes — ready to continue back in the classroom.
Post-Visit Resources
Teachers receive follow-up activity sheets and assessment task ideas so the excursion feeds directly into classroom work.

Examples of the activity and assessment structures we build with schools — adapted to your year levels and units.
Paddock-to-Plate Investigation
Students trace a food product from paddock to plate, recording inputs, processes and costs — culminating in a written or visual food-journey report.
Farm Enterprise Challenge
Teams design a small farm enterprise (honey, eggs, produce), calculating startup costs, break-even units and margin — assessed against Economics & Business outcomes.
Animal Welfare Observation Study
Structured observation of animal behaviour, housing and care standards, with students proposing and justifying one welfare improvement.
Seasons & Systems Field Journal
A guided field journal capturing weather, growth and animal changes — building science observation and recording skills across a visit or a term.
